Chemical peel aftercare

Precautions

1. Wait 12 hours before you cleanse your skin.
2. No hot water on your face — keep showers cool.
3. Skip saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs.
4. Avoid heavy sweating (workouts, running) for 48 hours.
5. No scrubs, washcloths, or exfoliating tools on the treated area.
6. Pause retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and astringents until skin has healed.
7. Please don't pick or peel the flaking skin — let it shed on its own.
8. Retinoids can resume 14 days after your peel.

Morning

1. Cleanse gently with fingertips (no cloth). Rinse cool, pat dry.
2. Apply your post-peel serum. Let it absorb.
3. Follow with a light layer of post-peel balm on the treated area.
4. Finish with SPF 30+ broad spectrum. Sun protection matters more now than any other time.

Evening

1. Cleanse gently, same as morning.
2. Apply your post-peel serum. Let it absorb.
3. Follow with post-peel balm on the treated area.

When to call us

Most of what happens after a treatment is normal. Call or text (920) 214-5867 if you see any of the following. If it feels urgent, contact your doctor or urgent care.

• Blistering, or skin that weeps or crusts.
• Redness that spreads rather than settles after the first few days.
• Burning or stinging that does not ease once the skin has cooled.
• Any sign of infection — swelling, heat, or pus.
