Dermaplaning aftercare

Morning

1. Cleanse gently with fingertips and lukewarm water. Pat dry.
2. Apply your usual serum. Let it absorb.
3. Follow with moisturizer.
4. Finish with SPF 30+ broad spectrum. Reapply every two hours if you're outside.

Evening

1. Cleanse gently, same as morning.
2. Apply serum. Let it absorb.
3. Follow with a moisturizer or a richer cream if your skin feels dry.

In the first days

1. Cleanse gently with lukewarm water for the first 48 hours. No washcloths, scrubs, or exfoliating tools.
2. Skip retinoids, salicylic acid, and benzoyl peroxide for five days.
3. Wear SPF 30+ every day. Reapply every two hours when you're outside.
4. Avoid heat — no saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours.
5. If you wax your face, wait seven days after your dermaplane.
6. Book your next dermaplane in about four weeks. Your skin's rhythm sets the pace.

When to call us

Most of what happens after a treatment is normal. Call or text (920) 214-5867 if you see any of the following. If it feels urgent, contact your doctor or urgent care.

• A nick or scratch that does not close within a day.
• Redness or irritation that is worsening rather than settling.
• A breakout that appears in the treated area and spreads.
• Any sign of infection — swelling, heat, or pus.
